Chelmsford property clearance services, provided by Essex’s leading house clearance business. A small local business, we are specialists in property clearances, covering not just Chelmsford but most of Essex. We clear unwanted furniture and other items from both residential and commercial properties, of all sizes. If you need someone to clear a property in Chelmsford or elsewhere in Essex, call us today!
We provide all customers with a free and no-obligation on-site assessment prior to any clearance. So, if you would like a clearance quote prior to selling or occupying a property, get in touch! We will visit the property to assess the job, provide the quote and agree a date, if required. We are of course VAT registered, if that is important to you.
Property clearance means we clear big or small houses, apartments, bungalows and also commercial properties. We take away unwanted furniture and household effects and general waste, leaving the property ready for occupation, sale or letting.
Property Clearance in Chelmsford
We provide property clearance services for homeowners, landlords and property agents, and for residential or commercial property. We provide probate clearance services and are happy to assist in any way we can, especially under such difficult circumstances. If you need assistance getting special items assessed, we can also arrange for valuations and, if needed, arrange for the items to go to auction. Basically, we’ll do what you need us to do.
We can also provide an optional post-clearance cleaning service, subject to availability.
Recycling Unwanted Furniture
We are fully licenced waste carriers and dispose of everything legally and ethically, but don’t like throwing things away. It’s not just because we don’t want to contribute to landfills, even if that’s important. We simply think it’s a shame to throw away items that other people would be happy to use. We recycle and rehome as much unwanted furniture, clothing and other items as possible. Where possible, good quality furniture is donated to one or more of the local charities we support. Used clothing is always donated to charity, as they can always be used, even if as rags.
Buying unwanted furniture
We are not furniture dealers but we will consider buying unwanted furniture which we believe we can resell. This, for example, can help reduce the cost of a probate clearance if the furniture is of interest to us. In most cases, and where possible, we prefer to donate used furniture to charitable causes we are familiar with and in 2020 these will include RSPCA Danaher Homes, British Heart Foundation, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, and Farleigh Hospice, amongst others.
